Angola and Mozambique

Seeks to locate the world church in the local church,

both prayerfully and practically.

Engages with issues of global economic and social justice eg Debt/Aid/Trade; MDGs; fairtrade; HIV/AIDS; Malaria; Stand Up;

Micah Challenge and climate change.

Uses the 5 marks of mission and London Challenge 2012 as a benchmark.

Organises events, training and sermons on these issues.

Encourages involvement in ‘seeking to transform the unjust structures of society’ and ‘creation care’ as well as ‘responding to human needs by acts of loving service’ –particularly in relation to our Diocesan Link with Angola and Mozambique.

Develops relationships and networks, in area (Willesden World Church Resource

Group), with other WDA’s, development agencies and Ngos(Global Development Group; WDA Core Group) and link partners (ALMA) to keep the poor to the forefront of both the church, the national and international agenda.
